Arriving by Air: Malcolm McKinnon Airport on the south end of Saint Simons is a small airfield serving small private planes. Brunswick Golden Isles Airport (BQK, also known as "Glynco Jetport") is the nearest airport with commercial service. Delta Airlines has daily flights from Atlanta. The nearest major airports are Savannah/Hilton Head International (SAV) to the north, and Jacksonville International (JAX) to south, in Florida. Each is about 1.5 hours away by car. Arriving by Car: St. Simons Villa in Sea Palms Golf & Tennis Resort is conveniently located on St. Simons Island, which is accessible from I-95. We are about halfway between Savannah and Jacksonville. Directions from Jacksonville, FL: Take I-95 North to Georgia Exit #29. After you exit, turn right onto Hwy 17 N. Approximately 4 miles you will cross a large span bridge. After you cross the bridge, the exit for St. Simons Island Causeway will be approximately 2 miles on your right. The Causesway to St. Simons Island is approximately 4 miles long. As soon as you get on the island get in the left lane because you will take a left at the first traffic light. You will be turning onto Sea Island Road. Proceed on this road a couple miles then at the next traffic light, turn left onto Frederica Road. Approximately 2 miles on your left will be the Sea Palms Golf & Tennis Resort Registration building.  Directions from Atlanta, GA: Take I-75 south to I-16 East to I-95 South before you get to Savannah. Directions from Savannah, GA: Take I-95 South to Georgia Exit #38. Turn left onto Spur 25.  In approximately 3 miles Spur 25 will turn into Hwy 17. Go a couple of more miles and turn left onto the Causeway to St. Simons Island. The Causesway to St. Simons Island is approximately 4 miles long. As soon as you get on the island get in the left lane because you will take a left at the first traffic light. You will be turning onto Sea Island Road. Proceed on this road a couple miles then at the next traffic light, turn left onto Frederica Road. Approximately 2 miles on your left will be the Sea Palms Golf & Tennis Resort Registration building.
Saint Simons Island Weather Forecast, GA	Directions from Brunswick Airport: When leaving the airport turn left on to Jetport Road. At the end of the road take a right on to US. Hwy. 17, heading south. Stay on Hwy. 17 for approximately 5 or 6 miles. Once you pass the Hercules (Pulp mill on the right) you will take a left on to the St. Simons Island causeway. The Causesway to St. Simons Island is approximately 4 miles long. As soon as you get on the island get in the left lane because you will take a left at the first traffic light.  You will be turning onto Sea Island Road.  Proceed on this road a couple miles then at the next traffic light, turn left onto Frederica Road.
